Ashley majored in Communications and Psychology. She will be attending Vessels of Honor Ministry School at the Potters House in Mt. Pleasant and will be studying to become a minister. Ashley served as the Financier and was a chapter founding member.

Dorthy majored in Public Relations and she will be the Coordinator for Volunteer Mobilzation at Michigan Campus Compact in Lansing, MI. Dorthy served as the Orientation Director and was also a chapter founding member.

Vision week 2007 was a time to put our faith in to works and apply the vision God set for Alpha Lambda Omega Christian Sorority, Inc.

The Vision

Our Campus - Christians will be equipped with Gods word

Sunday we bused students to Pottors House for worship service

Our Organization - "members will be exceptional examples of Christian womanhood for one another so that they will aspire to become not just women, but women of God."

Monday we had our official information meeting

Our Campus - "Christian organizations will come together to intercede for our student population."

Friday groups came together to intercede in a Night of Prayer and Food for the Soul

The Body of Christ - "as brothers and sisters in Christ, will uplift and encourage one another instead of condemning each other.

Discipleship Program

Join the Fall 2007 Discipleship Program

A Disciple is simply a follower of Christ. But in order to follow Christ we must know who He is according to the word of God.

We are offering any women who would like to study and know more about becoming a disciple in our program to email us at xichronicles@alocs.org.

All are welcome regardless of how much or little you know about Christ.

How the program works:

• You will meet once a week with your own discipleship mentor at your own convenience.
• Each week you will study a different aspect of following Christ.
• The program will run from September 18th - November 20th.

Welcome back to everyone. We are excited to begin another semester of ministry. The Xichronicles chapter will be at the following Welcome Week activities.

• Main Stage - Sunday, Aug 26th, from 4-7pm - Rose Pond
• Get Aquainted Day - Wednesday, Aug 29th, from 4-7pm - Warriner Mall
• Labor Day Informational - Monday, Aug 3rd, from 7:30pm - 9:30pm -Kulhavi 146 (Learn more about our ministry, how to get involved and about joining our sisterhood. Setting is informal and relaxed, so bring and friend and be prepared to get fed (literally)!!!)

My Sisters Keeper Bible Study will resume again at the same time in the same place, Kulhavi Hall 7pm every Tuesday starting September 4th. See you there!!

Autumn "Quiet Fire" Chipp is a sophomore from Saginaw, Michigan. She is majoring in Apparel Merchandising and Design with a minor in Entrepreneurship. This year Autumn served as the Chaplin and Discipleship Chair.

This semester we held a women's bible study that meet every tuesday at 7pm. As part of our mission to build women by leading them in to a relationship with Jesus Christ, we focused on themes such as "Women in the Bible" and "Fruit of the Spirit." My Sisters Keeper Bible Study will resume again next semester.

Thank you to all the ladies that attended the bible study and thank you Lord for the oppurtunity to share his abundant grace and love with others.
